About Technologies for the Visually Impaired

Greetings,

As a blind individual and an end-user of assistive technology, I established Technologies for the Visually Impaired (TVI) in 1994 to offer the very best in adaptive and assistive technology. TVI offers the finest products available on the market today, and all devices for sale through TVI have been used extensively by myself and other technology specialists.

Adaptive and assistive technology are both the gateway and avenue into a world of independence and self-reliance. Portset of England produces some of the most innovative equipment and software in the world. As evidenced by the amazing Portset Reader, they are on the cutting edge of technology today. Similarly, Papenmeier, Premier Assistive Technologies and Repro-Tronics also present outstanding and diverse product lines that are among the best in the world.

Whether you are a new-comer to speech and Braille technology, or if you are a veteran user, TVI can meet your individual needs. Please call me or contact me via e-mail for more information and I will offer you an end-user's perspective on technology. I know that I can help you become more independent and self-reliant.

Take Care,

John D. Panarese
Managing Director

We are proud to be the U.S. authorized dealers for Portset Systems Limited of England, as well as being authorized
sub-dealers for Premier Assistive Technologies, Index Braille Printer Company of Sweden, Papenmeier of Germany,Repro-Tronics, Duxbury, Dancing Dots and Robotron of Australia. Being blind, I have had the opportunity to use a wide range of adaptive technologies. You will find that I have gathered the very best products that are available
today.
